Podder Insights requires you to add a prefix to your show's RSS Feed. This will allow us to collect data about your show

Step 2 - Add Prefix

Or follow these instructions.

  • Go to your Transistor.fm
  • Select your show.
  • Click on Settings.
  • Click on advanced settings.
  • Find "Enable Podder Analytics" and put a checkmark to enable it.
  • Paste your Podder "User ID" (Login, go to profile & look for "User ID")

Please Note:

Transistor has a masking service for your podcast email where you can essentially hide it. If you have this setting enabled you'll not receive our confirmation email.


What To Do
- Go to your Transistor.fm settings.
- Under the "Owner Email" field you will see a checkbox with the text "Display this email in your RSS Feed."
- Disable it, re-submit your show confirmation with Podder.
- You'll receive an email to confirm your show from Podder.
- Once confirmed, you can reenable your email masking setting in Transistor.

Add Prefix

Follow these instructions.

  • You'll have to contact Buzzsprout support via email.
  • Copy & paste the template from below.
  • Add the name of your show to the template.
  • Add the prefix URL in the template below.
  • Send it to support@buzzsprout.com
  • Once they've confirmed it will take up to 24h. for it to take effect.

- Login to your Podder account.
- Go to your profile settings.
- Look for "Podder Prepend"

Step 2 - Add Prefix

Unfortunately, Anchor doesn't support any prefix URLs.

Most other hosting providers do support adding prefix URLs. That's why we're hopeful Anchor will soon be able to answer all of our requests.

What you can do in the mean time is contact them here. and ask them the following:

Please follow these instructions.

  • Go to OmnyStudio.com. & login.
  • Head over to your show's "Program settings" page.
  • Click the "Content tab".
  • Paste the Podder prefix URL in the Pefix URL field and save your changes.

- Login to your Podder profile.
- Go to your profile settings.
- Look for "Podder Prepend"

Follow these instructions.

  • First of all, starting from the CMS, access the RSS Settings of the podcast you would like to track, and set that to Manual.
  • Add the your unique Podder prefix URL under Tracking URL prefix, at the bottom of the page.
  • Don’t forget to click on Save!
  • Once they've confirmed it will take up to 24h. for it to take effect.

We are currently in the process of integrating with Libsyn.

Currently, you cannot use Podder Insights with Libsyn, but if you want to speed up the process you can contact them via support@libsyn.com and ask them the following:

Step 2 - Add Prefix

You'll have to ask Podbean to activate the analytics prefix option for your account.

  • Contact PodBean here.
  • Send them this message: Hey there, can you please enable the analytics prefix URL option  for my show. Thanks!
  • After you get a response that the feature is enabled follow the next steps
  • In your PodBean account head over to Settings>Feed and click on the blue "Advanced Feed Settings" link.
  • Scroll down and look for "URL prefix"
  • Enter your unique Podder prefix URL and don't forget to click "Save"

  • Click on "Content Settings" page.
  • Click on RSS Feed.
  • Enter your unique Podder prefix url to your show under "Stats services URL prefix".
  • Don't forget to click "Save"

  • From your Captivate dashboard click Podcast Settings.
  • Scroll down the page to Third-party prefixes.
  • Paste your unique Podder prefix there.

Follow these instructions.

  • Login to your Megaphone account.
  • Navigate to the Podcast you want to connect to Podder.
  • After selecting your show, click on the gear icon in the top right corner.
  • On the Podcast Settings modal, click "Megaphone Settings" tab.
  • At the bottom of that page you'll see a "Custom Prefix" section.
  • Click the box to "Enable custom prefix for your feed URLs
  • Enter the your unique Podder prepend URL & click save.

  • Login to your Simplecast account.
  • Click on the Gear Icon in the drop-down menu in the top-left corner of your dashboard.
  • Select "Distribution" in the left side of the menu.
  • Click "Advanced Settings" beneath the Main Feed URL
  • Locate the "Analytics Prefix" field and enter your unique Poodder prepend URL to the "Enclosure URL" field.
  • Click save.

Unfortunately, Acast doesn't support any prefix URLs.

Most other hosting providers do support adding prefix URLs. That's why we're hopeful Acast will soon be able to answer all of our requests.

Step 2 - Add Prefix

Unfortunately, Blubrry doesn't support a global setting for adding any prefix URLs. However, you can add them on an episode level.

  • When adding a new episode, scroll down to the area where you link your "Media URL" from Blubrry.
  • You'll see an URL looking like: http://media.blubrry.com/yourshow/xyz.mp3
  • Add your unique Podder prepend to this link by replacing the "http://".
  • After you add the Podder URL the link will look similar to that: https:/podderapp.com/235345/media.blubrry.com/yourshow/xyz.mp3
  • Click save & Publish
  • You can go back and edit already published episodes. It will have no negative affect on your podcast feed.

- Login to your Podder account.
- Go to your profile settings.
- Look for "Podder Prepend"
