RedCircle downloads: open the Downloads page

Use this route:

1. Sign in to your RedCircle creator account.
2. Select Analytics in the sidebar.

4. Check the Show Filter, especially when the account contains several podcasts.
5. Set the Time and Date Range. The default is the most recent 30 days.
6. Review the Downloads graph for activity over time or as a cumulative total.
7. Use the Episodes filter when you need one release rather than the entire show.

Read Overview and filtered graphs differently

The Downloads Overview includes Total Downloads, Average Episode Downloads, Average Weekly Downloads, and Exclusive Subscribers when applicable. RedCircle's Analytics FAQ says the Overview numbers accumulate all data to date and do not change when you filter a different detail-view date range.

That means an all-time Overview number should not be expected to match a graph set to 30 days. Before reporting a difference as an error, write down which part of the page supplied each figure.

RedCircle defines Average Episode Downloads as the average for episodes published between six months ago and six weeks ago. Average Weekly Downloads uses downloads across all episodes over the past month and averages them into a weekly figure. These are calculated summaries with different windows, not alternative labels for the same total.

What counts as a RedCircle download

RedCircle says a download generally means a listener streamed or downloaded a portion of the content. It also says the same device on the same network requesting the same content within 24 hours is not counted twice.

The company says its analytics follow IAB podcast measurement standards. Its FAQ also states that RedCircle does not hold an IAB certificate. Preserve both parts of that statement. Do not shorten adherence to a claim of certification.

Use episode performance for fairer comparisons

Episode Performance shows the strongest episodes in a graph and lists the others in a table. Depending on the plan, you can compare activity in the selected date range or use Since Published views.

Since Published uses exact elapsed periods. Seven days means 168 hours after publication, not the end of the seventh calendar date. A value remains TBD until that full period has elapsed. Episodes first published before they moved to RedCircle can also show an asterisk because RedCircle cannot reconstruct day-specific history from before it hosted them.

Compare episodes at the same age whenever possible. A lifetime total favors older releases. Keep trailers, bonus episodes, and standard releases in separate groups when they had different jobs.

Know which views depend on your plan

The Core plan includes the Overview, Downloads graph, Episode Performance, Listening App, Device, and OS views, plus links to major listening-platform dashboards. Growth or higher adds views such as Since Published, time of day, and geography. Paid plans also add export options, while broader multi-show reporting is reserved for higher plans.

Some incomplete-looking results are measurement limits rather than errors. Geolocation does not cover every request. Calculating or Insufficient data means RedCircle needs more episode data or a broader selected range. Keep app engagement separate

RedCircle can report host-side download activity. Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and other listening apps can report behavior observed inside their own products. Keep the sources in separate fields. Use listening-platform dashboards for app-specific retention, completion, or followers, and release notes for promotion, timing, and production context.

Check scope before changing anything:

• Expand the default 30-day range if you need older activity.

• Note whether the episode originally lived on another host.
