Spreaker downloads: where to find your stats

Spreaker downloads are in the CMS under Statistics. Select See More in the Downloads area, choose the organization, network, podcast, or episode you want to inspect, and set the reporting period. You can read the total, drill into available breakdowns, and export the download data as a CSV.
Save the scope and dates with the number. A download total without its podcast, period, source, and check time is difficult to interpret later.
Spreaker's official statistics page guide documents the current route and report structure.
- Sign in to the Spreaker CMS.
- Open Statistics.
- Find the Downloads section and select See More.
- Choose the relevant organization, network, podcast, or episode scope.
- Set the time frame. The default view uses the last 30 days, and the date picker includes preset and custom periods.
- Read the total and use the table or episode drill-down to identify what contributed to it.
- Export the report as a CSV when you need a retained copy.
Spreaker says the Downloads view is available on all plans. Other breakdowns have different plan requirements, so a missing tab does not necessarily mean that download tracking failed.
For a repeatable reporting routine, use the Spreaker analytics guide and record the exact view behind each number.
Choose the report that answers the question
The Statistics area includes several distinct views. Do not combine them into one audience total.
- Downloads shows delivery over time and can be narrowed from an organization to a network, podcast, or episode.
- Geolocation breaks downloads down by country, region, or city where available.
- Sources identifies listening platforms or referring domains where Spreaker can detect them.
- Devices reports available operating-system and device information.
- Listeners reports daily unique listeners at podcast level under Spreaker's definition.
- Likes and followers concern activity inside Spreaker, not likes or follows on external listening platforms.
The official guide says Downloads and Listeners are available on all plans. Geolocation and Sources start with Broadcaster plans, while Devices requires Anchorman or Publisher access. Check the current account and plan before treating a missing breakdown as a reporting defect.
What counts as a Spreaker download
Spreaker's collection and processing documentation covers activity in Spreaker products and requests from third-party podcast apps. It filters raw delivery records to reduce duplicate requests, bots, and fraudulent traffic.
For off-platform delivery, Spreaker generally sees an HTTP request for the media file plus technical information such as IP address and user agent. That request does not prove how much of the episode a person later heard.
Spreaker's current IAB update guidance adds qualification rules. It says plays and downloads use the Downloads label, listening under one minute is excluded, and an episode shorter than one minute must be heard completely to qualify. It also limits repeated counting from the same device and IP address within 24 hours.
Use how to measure podcast downloads before presenting delivery as completed listening. The safer statement is that the host counted a qualified media event under its published method.
How often Spreaker statistics update
Spreaker says current-day listening statistics update every hour. The service recalculates them the following morning and continues that process for two days after the initial day to apply its measurement rules.
This means a fresh total is provisional. If yesterday's number changes, first allow the documented recalculation window to finish. Record when you exported or checked the report, especially when a sponsor recap or launch review depends on a recent period.
Do not diagnose an audience drop from an incomplete day. Compare settled periods with the same duration and report scope.
How Spreaker identifies outside sources
Spreaker's source detection guide says external listens are tracked when the podcast was submitted through the Spreaker RSS feed and requests reach Spreaker. Open Downloads, choose the Sources tab, and select or deselect platforms to update the graph.
When a request contains a referrer, Spreaker can display its bare domain. When it does not, Spreaker uses the detected application as the source. A source label is therefore technical attribution, not a direct statement from the listener.
Spreaker's measurement documentation also notes a limit: some platforms can create and serve a local copy of the audio. If those requests do not reach Spreaker's delivery system and no reporting API is available, Spreaker cannot report them. Keep that boundary in mind before deciding an app produced zero listening.
Compare episodes fairly
A lifetime total favors an older release. For useful comparisons, give each episode the same amount of time after publication. Keep format and publishing context in view too. A trailer, bonus clip, interview, and regular episode do not perform the same job.
Record these fields with each comparison:
- episode title and publication time
- measurement window and time zone
- report scope and applied filters
- download total and check time
- promotion, feed, or distribution changes
How to track podcast analytics provides a simple framework for keeping those details beside the result.
If Spreaker downloads look wrong
Check these causes before changing the feed:
- Confirm the correct organization, network, podcast, or episode.
- Reset the reporting period and avoid comparing a partial day with a settled day.
- Confirm that you are reading Downloads rather than Listeners, Sources, likes, or followers.
- Check whether the account plan includes the missing breakdown.
- Allow the documented recalculation period to finish.
- Review whether a directory still uses the Spreaker RSS feed.
- Export the CSV and preserve the report settings before contacting support.
For a sudden change that remains after processing, follow the diagnostic order in why podcast downloads drop.
FAQ
These three questions come up most often when a show checks its Spreaker download reporting.
Where do I find Spreaker downloads?
Open Statistics in the CMS, then select See More under Downloads and set the report scope and dates.
How often do Spreaker downloads update?
Current-day stats update hourly. Spreaker then recalculates them the following morning and for two more days.
Do Spreaker downloads include Apple Podcasts and Spotify?
They can when those platforms use the Spreaker RSS feed and their media requests reach Spreaker. Technical delivery methods can limit source visibility.

FAQ
Where do I find Spreaker downloads?
Open Statistics in the Spreaker CMS and select See More under Downloads. Choose the organization, network, podcast, or episode scope, then set the date range before reading or exporting the result.
How often do Spreaker downloads update?
Spreaker says current-day listening stats update hourly. It recalculates them the following morning and for two more days, so a recent total can change while processing finishes.
Do Spreaker downloads include Apple Podcasts and Spotify?
Spreaker says it tracks listening requests from external platforms when they use the Spreaker RSS feed and the media request reaches Spreaker. Some platforms can obscure or copy delivery, so source reporting has technical limits.
